Teaching for other studios in L.A., Cambridge, Brockton, Quincy, and East Bridgewater has made her a well-rounded and sought-after instructor. Miss Linda’s dancing helped her to become Miss Brockton in 1984 and her competition team has won choreography and top score awards regionally and nationally. She takes classes to stay current in the dance profession as well as keeping up on all the dance journals, books, and periodicals. She has been featured in Dance Studio Life magazine.
Miss Nicole Carey is a former student and former co-worker of Miss Linda. Both women studied at The Denise Buote Dance Studio in Brockton and then went on to teach there. Miss Nicole has competed nationally and performed in a local music video as well as performing with the Brockton Symphony Orchestra. Miss Kerry-Anne is also a wonderful singer/dancer with the premier traveling group “Masquerade.” She is also a member of the Greater Brockton Dance Teachers’ Association and studies with Charlie Holbrook who is a teacher at Dean College, the University of Rhode Island, and the Boston Conservatory.
Miss Brittany Lamont has studied at the Performance Dance Center since she was a little girl also dancing with the competition group. Miss Brittany also does double duty working in the office.
Miss Clarisse Beauvais is a former student of On Stage Dance Studio in Hyde Park, which was owned by our very own Miss Kerry Anne Maalouf. Our Teaching Philosophy and Mission
All of Performance Dance Center’s teachers adhere to our philosophy which is that everyone should have fun while learning the disciplined art of dance. Technique is very important, but we also believe that building the students’ self confidence, giving them a creative outlet, and teaching them to respect their bodies and minds is very important as well. And we love teaching children how to dance!
