Miss Linda

Miss Linda Twiss Gioscia has studied with well-known instructors in both the Boston and Los Angeles area. While in L.A., she had intensive study with Joe Tremaine, one of the country’s leading jazz dance artists. She has competed nationally and danced with Jeanette Neill’s Dance Company in Boston.

Teaching for other studios in L.A., Cambridge, Brockton, Quincy, and East Bridgewater has made her a well-rounded and sought-after instructor. Miss Linda’s dancing helped her to become Miss Brockton in 1984 and her competition team has won choreography and top score awards regionally and nationally. She takes classes to stay current in the dance profession as well as keeping up on all the dance journals, books, and periodicals. She has been featured in Dance Studio Life magazine.

Our Teaching Philosophy and Mission

All of Performance Dance Center’s teachers adhere to our philosophy which is that everyone should have fun while learning the disciplined art of dance. Technique is very important, but we also believe that building the students’ self confidence, giving them a creative outlet, and teaching them to respect their bodies and minds is very important as well. And we love teaching children how to dance!
