The Performance Dance Center is my second home. I’ve been coming here for 14 years and I never wanted to leave. You make this environment warm and welcoming...you will always have a special place in my heart and I will never forget where I grew up.

Even though I have only been in dance for 4 years, those 4 years were life changing for me. Through the love and encouragement of Miss Kerry-Anne, Miss Nicole, Miss Clarisse and everyone at PDC, I have developed the self-confidence I never thought I would have.

I have memory problems-so when I saw all the complicated dance steps I would have to learn, I thought I would NEVER be able to remember them, much less PERFORM them. But my teachers reassured me that I could do it. Before you knew it, there I was, remembering the steps...performing them onstage in front of an auditorium full of people and feeling full of confidence and pride in myself! Thank you for believing in me even when I might not have believed in myself. Thank you for believing in me even when I might not have believed in myself.
Thank you for showing me that with hard work and confidence, I can do anything I put my mind to. Thank you for the fun, the laughs and the tears, I will miss you all so much!

I wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of the constant, caring structure you have given to my daughter over the past 10 years. She went through a hard time...family and friends were very concerned, the one thing that stayed constant was dance. She loved it! We now see her as a strong, capable, confident young woman, top of her class...and you helped her get through her dark place, again a million times, thank you!
— Mom of PDC graduate L.B.

In first grade, Miss Linda taught me and a few of my friends with special needs. After that class was over, Miss Linda approached my Mom to and said that she thought that I could manage a regular dance class. I joined and Miss Linda never treated me any different than the rest of her students and expected the same effort from all of us. Last year I recieved my 10 year trophy and it was the prudest day of my life up to that point. Miss Linda not only taught me to dance...she taught me to fly! Because she believed in me, I leaned to believe in myself....Last week I graduated from Weymouth High School and will be attending Bridgewater State. If it wasn’t for dance, Miss Linda and all of my teachers, I don’t think I would be the confident woman I am today.

PDC is like a second home to me. I was painfully shy as a child. Coming to dance every week and learning to come out of my shell and express myself has done wonders and made me who I am today. They always understood me, even when the words didn’t come out of my mouth and accepted and loved me.

When I was looking at colleges, Miss Linda insisted I audition for a big dance scholarship to Dean College when I didn’t want to embarrass myself and not get it. Bu I did it because of her, and I got it!! I couldn’t be more grateful for all of the teacher’s support and inspiration to pursue my passion.

PDC has been a family for me for the past 10 years. There was never anything I looked forward to more than spending my Monday or Wednesday nights at the studio growing up. PDC has provided me with life long bonds and friend that I know will always be there. I truly believe that growing up in the studio with such remarkable people as my teachers and role models is what made me who I am today. Many of my values have stemmed from growing up as a dancer and I know that no matter what, they will stay with me throughout my life and I can always look back at PDC as my home away from home.

The past 15 years at PDC has shaped my character and personality in a way nothing else has. Dance has taught me commitment, elegance, grace, strength and above all, confidence. In many ways I am not, nor ever been the type of person who can get up on stage in front of people on confidently show off a talent. But all of the amazing and supportive dance instructors at PDC have made it possible for me and continue to make that easier each and every year. So thank you, for helping create a stronger and more self assured version of myself over the last 15 years, and for giving me the chance to make great memories with my family.

“Dancing brings my daughter so much joy, she struggles with her self confidence. A big thank you to all the teachers for not just teaching dance, but also boosting self confidence and bringing joy to all of the students!!”
