When Intermediate dancers reach about 10 years old, their class will be invited to join technique/competition class.  There is no audition, but students must have a great attendance and punctuality record.  If students are unable to keep up, they may be asked to wait a year to compete or may be asked to move down a level.  The invitation is open to everyone, but not open indefinitely. After the group invitations are over, it is up to the teacher if too much time has passed and whether a dancer can join.  So, while the invitation is to everyone in the beginning, it is not an open invitation for years.

Tech is a Jazz class that meets once a week for one hour focusing on improving technique and performance.  Dancers are required to take 4-8 classes of Summer Dance, participate in a workshop in Nov., and compete in two dance competitions in the Spring.  Dancers can only be absent 4 times and be punctual with a positive attitude.  When you register for this class, a $100 security deposit is due that will be forfeited if a dancer does not fulfill their contract for the year. It is credited to the account in June if they graduate or decide to leave if they have not broken the agreement.

Extra Tech is a 45 minute Tap class with the same requirements.

How to register will be emailed to classes when students are ready.
